PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: September 7th, 2024

1) Vikings Lose QB to NFC Rival: The hope and plan was to bring Jaren Hall back, but on the practice squad. Instead, the sophomore passer decided to head west by signing with the Seahawks. In Seattle, Hall has a clearer path toward playing time.

2) Kene Nwangwu Plot Twist Underscores 1 Reason for Release: Tough news that things didn’t work out initially. The talented returner is going to find work in the NFL because he has blistering speed. Frankly, it’s still a bit surprising that Minnesota didn’t find a way to make it work with him.

3) Vikings Folk Hero Ruled Out for 2024 Season: Tough news for Case Keenum. He’ll always be cherished in Minnesota for the magic of the 2017 season. The man knows how to win and he gave Stefon Diggs a chance. The Minneapolis Miracle is one of the greatest moments in NFL playoff history.

4) The Sam Darnold Curveball Minnesota May Not be Ready to Hit: What will the Vikings do if Sam Darnold performs magnificently? What happens if there’s a deep playoff run? In a lot of ways, the plan will be simpler if he totally flops; just hand things over to J.J. McCarthy and move on. Success, though, could be a curveball.

5) Vikings Make U-Turn at a Specialist Position: Much remains uncertain about the kickoff change. No doubt, there will be unexpected twists and turns. As the season goes on, the Vikings will likely experiment with different players bringing the ball back as they seek to gain an edge over the opponent.
