The P/PTSD Perspective: December 28th, 2024

1) Vikings Make 2 Roster Moves on Christmas Eve: No doubt, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah is a GM who puts a ton of work into his job. True, the decision making hasn’t always been perfect — he is, after all, human — but the man has done a good job of building up the roster.

2) The Missing Piece Returns to Vikings Practice: Getting healthy at the right time can sometimes make the difference in a team’s playoff run. Minnesota, no matter what, is getting into the final tournament. Can the return of some injured Vikings players help to push them deep into the postseason?

3) Ex-Franchise QB Endorses QB Solution for Vikings: No shortage of debate is going to take place in the coming weeks and months. Credit to Sam Darnold for playing so well that there’s a legitimate case for keeping him. The QB who most thought was a mere draft bust has proven capable of being a strong QB1 in the NFL.

4) Packers and Vikings Clash Takes a Twist: Part of winning so many contests is getting game time slots flipped around. The Vikings and Packers will be some must-see TV for Week 17, so it makes sense that the NFL decided to intervene by shuffling the schedule.

5) Ex-Vikings Tight End Joins the Super Bowl Champs: If the desire is to win a Super Bowl, then going to Kansas City is probably the best option. Of course, winning yet another championship will be ultra difficult, but it’s hard to go against Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.
