1) Vikings Could Bring an Aging Star to Minnesota: Good chance this one doesn’t occur. The Vikings seem quite content at receiver. Yes, the top two options are stellar, but don’t discount the optimism surrounding the next three options: Jalen Nailor, Brandon Powell, and Trent Sherfield. All play a role and all are important to winning football.
2) Vikings’ Next Opponent May Feature a Familiar Face at Quarterback: Jaren Hall got away from the Vikings even though there was a desire for him to return. In a lot of ways, the swap for Brett Rypien is still surprising. Seattle now employs the sophomore passer and one wonders if Hall will be active for the game.
3) Vikings Pickup Good News on Injured Defender: Ivan Pace Jr. should be back once he’s allowed to come off of the IR. The linebacker is a menace on the football field. Re-inserting him into the lineup will mean that the Vikings get a boost for Week 17 and Week 18.
4) Justin Jefferson Explains What Made Him Feel “Sick” from the Week 15 Win: Not often do we see the WR1 make the kind of mistake that he made last week. He had a pretty solid day against the Bears but could have pushed the stats a decent bit higher if he hadn’t dropped a ball near the goal line.
5) Recently Promoted Vikings Defender is Likely Out on Sunday: Well, the hope is that it’s a swift recovery, but concussions aren’t a joke. The best course of action is to ensure that Jalen Redmond is 100% healthy before rushing him back to the football field. Health needs to come before football.
