PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: October 5th, 2024

1) Stunning Stat Emerges in Vikings Victory over the Packers in Week 4: Tip of the cap to CBS Sports for digging up the wild statistic. Minnesota has only been trailing for 3:26 all season. At some point, the Vikings will need to prove that they can come back from a large deficit; it’s what great teams can do.

2) Stefon Diggs Reveals Reason for his Departure from Minnesota: Part of me thinks it’s time to move on from the story. After all, Diggs enjoyed tremendous success as a Bill and he’s now doing great things as a Texan. In Minnesota, Justin Jefferson got onboarded, which was gone reasonably well. Time to quit focusing on the divorce with the Vikings?

3) T.J. Hockenson’s Potential Return Date Comes to Light: The latest news is that Minnesota has officially decided to open his practice window. Doing so officially gets the clock ticking for his return. Re-inserting the TE1 into the lineup is going to make the offense even more dangerous.

4) The Vikings are Walking Directly into Another Champagne Problem: Part of the cost of success. Sam Darnold is playing some excellent football, so if it continues Minnesota will have a difficult decision to make at the season’s end.

5) Is One of the Vikings’ Defensive Starters in Danger of Losing His Starting Spot?: The issue isn’t that Minnesota has another linebacker who is better than Ivan Pace Jr. (though, in fairness, Kamu Grugier-Hill has done some good things). The issue is that Josh Metellus demands to be on the field, potentially leaving the Vikings with just a single lonely linebacker.
