Minnesota Vikings Snap Counts for Week 14 vs. Atlanta Falcons
The Minnesota Vikings snagged their sixth consecutive win on Sunday to improve to 11-2 on the season.
Better yet, the win came against Kirk Cousins and his new squad the Atlanta Falcons in which Sam Darnold far outperformed the former Vikings QB. With the win now in the rearview mirror, here is a look at the Vikings’ snap counts from Week 14.
Offense
- LT Cam Robinson (60)
- LG Blake Brandel (60)
- C Garrett Bradbury (60)

- FB C.J. Ham (19)
- TE Johnny Mundt (11)
- WR Brandon Powell (10)
- WR Trent Sherfield (10)
- QB Nick Mullens (2)
It was a perfect occasion for Sam Darnold to have the first 5-TD game for a Vikings quarterback in 20 years as Minnesota faced off with Cousins and the Falcons. Darnold finished the day with 347 yards and those five TDs to go along with a 78.6% completion percentage. Remember those turnover issues Darnold had earlier in the season, too? He now has gone four games without throwing an interception.
It was also arguably Jordan Addison’s best game as a pro as he finished the day by catching three of those Darnold touchdown passes while leading the team with eight catches and 133 yards.

If you were suited up as a Vikings defender on Sunday, there was a very good chance that you were getting on the field in this game. Minnesota had this one locked down late, which gave the Vikings a chance to put a number of their youngsters in, including Gabriel Murphy who finally made his NFL debut on Sunday.
Additionally, Jalen Redmond continues to look like an absolute stud at the defensive tackle spot. The former UDFA racked up two tackles for loss for the second consecutive week, giving him six for the season. Redmond may be a building piece for the future at a position that has been filled with journeymen over the past few years.

Will Reichard and Andrew DePaola both returned to the lineup on Sunday, giving the Vikings their regular trio at kicker/punter/long snapper once again. Reichard did miss his only field goal attempt of the game, but it didn’t matter because the Vikings scored six total touchdowns. Hopefully, he gets back to his early season form as he has now missed his last three field goal attempts after starting the year 14-for-14.
