Merry Christmas from Vikings Territory
Merry Christmas, reader.
Safe to say that the current season has been a fun one. Very seldom do the Vikings play so well, a feat that’s especially impressive when we consider the huge personnel changes that took place during the offseason. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, Kevin O’Connell, and the rest of the team’s leadership deserve applause. And maybe a special gift or two from Santa.
And, perhaps, some feelings of gratitude. After all, we’re talking the Vikings. Great seasons aren’t a foregone conclusion. Enjoy the good ones when they arrive.
Who knows? The team could finally break through and deliver the ultimate gift to its fans: that elusive Lombardi Trophy. Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? No.
Sports, as we’re so often reminded, are wonderfully unpredictable. It’s a major reason why we keep coming back for more. So, stay tuned and Minnesota could do something very special once 2024 flips over into 2025.
