Next up? Minnesota travels to London for a date with the New York Jets, a city where the purple team has never lost.

Minnesota’s injury report actually looks quite promising, all things considered.

Overall, the Vikings are decently healthy at this point on the calendar, a tendency that isn’t necessarily widespread around the league.

These are each team’s injured players one day before Week 5.

It’s worth noting that “doubtful” statuses in the NFL almost always result in a player’s absence.

The Vikings are 2.5-point favorites to defeat the Jets in Week 5. New York is 8-4 (.666) against Minnesota all-time.

Vikings-Jets will feature Sam Darnold playing against the team that drafted him in 2018 โ€” and gave up on him after the 2020 campaign.

Minnesota’s Super Bowl probability has climbed from +8000 to +1600 in the last four weeks, a signal that oddsmakers are beginning to buy what the purple team is selling. Few predicted a 4-0 record to start the season, and virtually no one prognosticated 5-0. But that’s within Minnesota’s grasp this weekend.

New York hasn’t beaten Minnesota since 2010, losing its last three matchups against the purple team.

Rodgers’ team only mustered nine points last weekend against the Denver Broncos, as the Jets’ offense has not found a groove to start the season. Inconveniently, Minnesota’s defense ranks tops in the NFL per DVOA and EPA/Play.
