The NFL draft occurs on April 25th in Detroit, so less than two days away. The predictions are listed in random order.
1. Spencer Rattler Drafted before Bo Nix — and in Round 1
Prediction Maker = Cole Smith
Not only will Spencer Rattler be drafted higher than Bo Nix, but he will go in the 1st Round.
2. Bills Trade up for WR Brian Thomas
Prediction Maker = Josh Frey
The Buffalo Bills have a desperate need at the wide receiver position. Josh Allen is great, but he still needs help. Buffalo gets him that help by moving up for one of the best WRs in the class.
3. Packers Trade Up for LT
Prediction Maker = Ali Siddiqui
They need a long-term left tackle David Bakhtiari gone, so they’ll pull the trigger.
4. Packers Trade out of Round 1
Prediction Maker = Adam New
Already loaded with Day 2 picks, Green Bay trades pick 25 to the Los Angeles Chargers for picks 37 and 69. That gives the Packers 6 picks on Day 2 and the opportunity to add a lot of talent to the roster.
5. Dolphins or Rams Draft Xavier Worthy
Prediction Maker = Wes Johnson
Dolphins or the Rams will take Xavier Worthy in the 1st Round to create matchup nightmares for opposing defenses. Pre-snap motion will cause chaos.
6. Cowboys Draft RB Jonathon Brooks in Round 1
Prediction Maker = Dustin Baker
The Cowboys’ RB room is unusually skinny, and they will draft Brooks way too early. The Texas connection is too irresistible, the RB need is obvious, and Dallas has reached for prospects in the past.
Brooks to Dallas, causing head scratches from onlookers.
7. QBs Go 1, 2, 3, 4 in R1 — and Then That’s It
Prediction Maker = Janik Eckardt
Quarterback-needy teams will snatch the top four passers with the first four selections in the draft while every other team in the market for a signal-caller is comfortable waiting to acquire its favored prospect (Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr.) in the second round.
