The 2024 UFL Draft occurred on Wednesday, consisting of players eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft but went undrafted.

6 Current Vikings Players Selected in UFL Draft

The event featured 80 picks among eight teams, and the 2025 UFL season will begin next spring.

Along the way, six current players from Minnesota’s roster found tentative homes. Put simply, if the following six men don’t make the Vikings’ roster or subsequent NFL homes thereafter, they can choose the UFL as their next place of employment.

These were the six Vikings selected, listed in alphabetical order.

1. Dallas Gant (LB)

UFL Draft Team: DC Defenders
Overall Pick Selection:
51

Gant will battle for a roster spot in Minnesota this month and next, probably eyeing a practice squad job for the purple team. The Defenders will be a fallback if he chooses.

2. Dwight McGlothern (CB)

UFL Draft Team: Michigan Panthers
Overall Pick Selection:
14

McGlothern actually has a decent chance of making the Vikings’ roster — or at least the practice squad. Because of Khyree Jackson’s untimely passing, McGlothern is the only rookie cornerback on Kevin O’Connell’s roster.

3. Gabriel Murphy (OLB)

UFL Draft Team: San Antonio Brahmas
Overall Pick Selection:
15

The Brahmas likely won’t see much of Murphy, as the UCLA alumnus is considered “this year’s Ivan Pace Jr.” among Vikings fans.

He’ll make the active roster or practice squad. Like Pace Jr., the knock on his scouting report is silly — scouts believed he was a smidgen too small.

4. Bo Richter (OLB)

UFL Draft Team: Arlington Renegades
Overall Pick Selection:
15

Oddly, the Renegades reportedly drafted Richer to play running back. He was added to Minnesota’s roster from undrafted free agency as a hybrid linebacker-EDGE.

5. Spencer Rolland (OT)

UFL Draft Team: Arlington Renegades
Overall Pick Selection:
59

Rolland is probably the likeliest on the list to join a UFL team because Minnesota’s OTs jobs are all but wrapped up, including the depth positions.

6. Taki Takimani (DT)

UFL Draft Team: Arlington Renegades
Overall Pick Selection:
51

Brian Flores’ defense has no true nose tackles on the current depth chart, so Taimani has a puncher’s chance of making the active roster. He can’t waltz down to Arlington and join the Renegades if he does not.
