The Minnesota Vikings remain in the league’s Top 6 Super Bowl odds and need two wins in the next eight days to secure homefield advantage throughout the postseason.

3 Bold Predictions for Packers at Vikings

That’s the beauty of a 13-2 start. Minnesota has won eight straight after a two-game, post-bye losing dip and is absolutely back on track.

So, with the Vikings’ contest against the Green Bay Packers just around the bend, these are three bold predictions for Vikings-Packers.

1. Dallas Turner Logs Another Sack

A Week 15 win against the Chicago Bears wasn’t necessarily a textbook “breakout” game for Dallas Turner, but he did turn heads with a sweet sack and increased playing time. Then, at Seattle last weekend, Turner snatched an interception out of the sky, continuing his late-season push.

On Sunday, he will log another sack, this time clobbering Jordan Love in a rather pivotal game for the purple team.

Folks are starting to learn why Minnesota traded a junior version of the farm for Turner, and his rise to stardom will only intensify. The guy’s the real deal. To date, Andrew Van Ginkel and Jonathan Greenard have played “too well” for Turner to see the field consistently.

Turner will notch at least one sack.

2. T.J. Hockenson Finally Scores a TD

Hockenson has not scored a touchdown this season despite returning from injury in Week 9. He’s wildly overdue to find the endzone.

Therefore, this one is really straightforward: Target Hockenson in the redzone this weekend or henceforth and let him cook in the endzone. A touchdown-less season for Hockenson would be criminal.

The veteran tight end has never ended a season with zero touchdowns, so it just seems like he’ll find a little justice this weekend or next. What’s more, it’s not like Hockenson is struggling. He’s been a crucial 3rd Down and big-catch contributor since his return in November.

Hockenson will score on Sunday, and if not, it just has to be at Detroit.

3. The Vikings Prevail via Game-Winning FG

Will Reichard has hit his stride after returning from a midseason quad injury. He’s back to his reliable tendencies.

Well, this weekend, Minnesota will ask Reichard to win the game. The NFC North foes will be tied late in the 4th Quarter, and Reichard will connect for three points. The purple team will prevail 24-21.
