Minnesota Vikings football is eight days away, with the regular season beginning at the New York Giants.

11 Bold Predictions for the 2024 Vikings: Fans

To prepare for that event, we gathered some Vikings fans and asked each individual to offer a bold prediction for the 2024 season. Bold predictions are designed to be outlandish and forward-thinking, so think outside the box regarding fans’ responses.

Here’s what they said.

Question to all: What is your bold prediction for the 2024 Vikings? Bold predictions are designed to be wild or “out there,” so you can think outside the box and be funky — like Will Reichard hits a 60+ yard FG.

1. Three Vikings QBs Pass for 1,000+ Yards

Bold Predictions
Nick Mullens got his first start as the Minnesota QB on Saturday at Cincinnati. Minnesota lost 27-24, but Mullens was productive while causing a couple of turnovers. He joined the Vikings in late summer of 2022 and has served as the team’s QB2 since.

My bold prediction for this season is that the Vikings will have 3 quarterbacks throw for 1,000+ yards!

One of the UDFAs will end up on the PFWA Rookie Team after the season. I also think Ivan Pace Jr. will get All-Pro votes after this season.

3. Jonathan Greenard a Top 3 Sack Leader

Greenard will continue to ascend under Brian Flores and with Andrew Van Ginkel and Dallas Turner. They’ll be able to create a lot of pressure this season. I think Flores will also call games like he’s angry because of the Tua Tagovailoa drama that just took place. Flores doesn’t seem like the kind of guy you want to give a chip on the shoulder.

4. The Vikings Offense, on the Whole, Throws for 5,000 Passing Yards

I’m not saying it will be all Sam Darnold, but this offense will still be elite between the three guys we have, who all might get snaps. I’m sticking to my take that the Vikes will have at least nine wins this year.

5. Justin Jefferson Wins MVP

My bold take for the Vikings season is that Justin Jefferson will eclipse 2,000 yards this season before by week 17, and the Vikings will win their first playoff game with him on the roster. Additionally, Justin Jefferson will become the first WR to win the MVP award.

6. Will Reichard Leads the NFL in Points

I predict that Will Reichard will be the NFL scoring champion this season. However, it’s not all good. It means many scoring drives will be stalled, and field goals will be necessary.

7. Jalen Nailor Is a Total Stud

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports.

@ST7cubs

I know he’s already on the radar of many Vikings fans, but my bold prediction is that Jalen Nailor will be a significant factor in the offense this season. To put some numbers on it, I predict 60+ receptions, 800+ yards, and 7+ TDs.

8. Jalen Nailor Hits 1,000 Receiving Yards, 7 TDs

Nailor gets over 1,000 and 7 TDs. I have no basis for this other than it’s bold.

9. Aaron Jones Sets Rushing Yard Career-High

Minnesota QB Sam Darnold and RB Aaron Jones addressed the media from the TCO Performance Center on Thursday, March 14th. Both players became Vikings after Alexander Mattison and Kirk Cousins left during the 2024 offseason.

Aaron Jones has a career-high for rushing yds but misses his TD record by 2. He will be the #1 back with an amazing receiving group around him.

10. The Vikings Reach the Postseason

I’m going to say we will be a Wild Card team. We just aren’t going to finish with a record as bad as people are saying.

11. C.J. Ham Breaks Off 50+ Yard Td, etc.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

@Skol227

C.J. Ham is going to run for a 50-yard+ TD run. Sam Darnold has a 5-TD game this season. Both Jefferson and Addison get a game with 1 TD run, 1 TD catch, and 1 TD pass. Book it.
