The Minnesota Vikings have added seven new players in March, including Josh Oliver (TE, Ravens), Marcus Davenport (EDGE, Saints), Byron Murphy (CB, Cardinals), Dean Lowry (DT, Packers), Brandon Powell (WR, Rams), Troy Reeder (LB, Chargers), and Joejuan Williams (CB, Patriots).

Cameron Dantzler (CB, Commanders), Eric Kendricks (LB, Chargers), Patrick Peterson (CB, Steelers), Adam Thielen (WR, Panthers), Dalvin Tomlinson (DT, Browns), Duke Shelley (CB, Raiders), Irv Smith (TE, Bengals), and Kris Boyd (CB, Cardinals) have exited the franchise, so next September will feel a bit strange no matter what.

But Minnesota does have enough players to field a 53-man football team, a tally that will grow to 90 men by the summer. For now, here’s the Vikings depth chart with the NFL draft less 10 days away.

Minnesota is pegged with a familiar win forecast this season as of early April — 8.5 wins. It’s the same Vegas forecast from last year at this time. Most experts believe the franchise severely overachieved in 2022 and will regress accordingly in Kevin O’Connell’s second year. We shall see.

The Vikings are slated to pick five times in the draft, although general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah might trade like a kid with baseball cards — as he did last year.
