The Minnesota Vikings own a 6-4 record after Week 10 with eyes on the Denver Broncos this Sunday night. After toppling five straight NFC opponents, Minnesota is now mathematically in the driver’s seat to reach the playoffs.

The Top 5 Moments of the Vikings’ Season So Far

And while the 2023 campaign still has seven games on tap, these are the Vikings’ Top 5 moments so far, ranked in ascending order (No. 1 = top moment).

5. Jordan Addison Scores at GB

The Top 5 Moments
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison (3) celebrates a first down reception against Green Bay Packers safety Rudy Ford (20) and cornerback Keisean Nixon (25) during their football game Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. Dan Powers/USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin.

In the 3rd Quarter of a Week 8 game at Lambeau Field, safety Josh Metellus ripped a Jordan Love pass out of the sky for an interception. Moments later, Kirk Cousins connected on this play with Jordan Addison to hand the purple team a 24-3 lead.

At this moment, Vikings fans turned to each other and thought, “Holy feces. Are we like good-good?”

4. Jordan Addison Scores vs. SF

Another Addison transaction, Minnesota needed to beat the San Francisco 49ers to generate some momentum and legitimacy. They did just that.

But the game wasn’t in the bag during the 1st Half. However, this rip-away reception and touchdown turned the tide for Minnesota.

The catch — or theft — also put Addison on the map in front of a primetime audience.

3. Camryn Bynum Secures Win over SF

The Vikings’ season fundamentally changed for the better when it knocked off the then-best-in-the-NFL 49ers. San Francisco had just one loss heading into the game, which was considered a fluky circumstance the week before at Cleveland.

When Bynum seized the Purdy pass, Minnesota’s season suddenly became salvageable and for real.

2. D.J. Wonnum Saves the Vikings’ Season

This play changed everything for the Vikings. Everything.

Minnesota traveled to Carolina for a date with the lowly Panthers, and at the time, the Vikings hadn’t won a game. Meanwhile, late in the 3rd Quarter, the Vikings seemed on track for an 0-4 start to 2023.

But then this happened.

If the Vikings end up turning 2023 into something special, never forget this play as the undeniable catalyst.

1. Dobbs to Powell in Atlanta

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports.

Many Vikings fans had never heard of Josh Dobbs before this game, and then the man rocketed onto the field versus Atlanta after an injury to rookie quarterback Jaren Hall. Dobbs was immediately electric, faster than any Vikings quarterback since Joe Webb, and visibly more than “just a backup.”

Minnesota needed a win over Atlanta to climb over .500, and Dobbs, plus his pal Brandon Powell, delivered.

This play shoved the Vikings into the NFC’s playoff scene, Dobbs into a national purview, and the positive vibes for Minnesota haven’t stopped.
