Proposed NFL team logos are habitually an exciting topic, and one talented woman has garnered the attention of Minnesota Vikings fans with a rather impressive rendition.

That’s Emily Morgan, and she has thoughts on a Vikings logo tweak, presenting her idea on Tik Tok this week.

Normally, “new” logos, especially for the Vikings, are met with groans because of traditionalists’ love for the Norseman emblem, which curiously looks exactly like tight end T.J. Hockenson. But Morgan’s design was met with widespread applause.

First, here’s one iteration of Morgan’s logo:

That’s just one color scheme. Here’s the Tik Tok video of the unveiling.

To be clear, the Vikings are not in the market for a logo re-design, so Morgan’s efforts are for fun and be classified as a hobby. But the creation did draw attention from Vikings faithful — in an unusually positive sentiment.

Twitter user @skol_Cubs commented, “I will never want something different than the current logo, but this is a very cool alternate idea that could be utilized. I feel like this is an awesome concept.”

“Cool and smart design, but we need less minimalism in sports,” Andy Quach replied.

@southtigerfan weighed in, “I have no vote in this cause I’m not exactly the diehard Vikings fan, but the logo looks so good as an alternate. The classic logo should still remain in place, but that alternate logo is definitely really good and could be plastered on the side of their helmets as an alternate.”

ESPN SportsCenter’s social media account also picked up Morgan’s video and posted it worldwide.

Other teams’ fans pleaded with Morgan to ‘do their team next.’ “Please do a new Titans Logo! It currently has fire flames? Or it’s a descending asteroid? It’s painful to buy Titans gear because their logo is so bad,” @luisville_12 tweeted.

The Vikings are among the few NFL teams that seldom change anything with logos or uniforms. The club fired up a “white out” event against the New York Giants last December, where players wore all-white and fans were asked to follow suit. And they mostly obliged, creating a fascinating effect at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Morgan’s work isn’t exclusive to the Vikings, either. On her Tik Tok page, she’s created re-designs for the Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, March Madness, various NHL rebrands, MLB work, and some Super Bowl recommendations, among other items.

Aside from Morgan’s input, Minnesota may wear throwback jerseys for a game this season, perhaps paying homage to the 1998 season.
