PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting their top 5 articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peak at some of their best stuff.

1) Bad News for the Vikings: Left in charge of the purple personnel – thank God I’m not – I’d load up on pass rushers, sacrificing at other areas to ensure the team is well-stocked with players capable of getting after the QB. A free agent commonly rumored to be heading to Minnesota decided to go elsewhere.

2) 1 Vikings Veteran Who Can Leapfrog the Current Starter: Much has been said about the continuity up front. And, to be sure, that’s a fact worth celebrating. Don’t forget, though, that continuity is simply a means to an end. The ultimate goal is to have an excellent offensive line.

3) A Titans Trade Ticks All the Purple Boxes: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has pulled off a lot of trades since taking over. More specifically, he has pulled off 15 trades. The Nick Mullens deal is one that worked out well. Part of what made Minnesota comfortable with pulling off the deal is that Las Vegas played Minnesota during the preseason. Might we see something similar in the upcoming preseason?

4) Vikings OC Praises 270-Pound Freight Train: Josh Oliver is going to help the offense. He’s a massive person, a fact that will help him as both a pass catcher and as a blocker. Wes Phillips sounds enthused about the free-agent signing.

5) Did Kevin O’Connell Overlook K.J. Osborn: Perhaps I’m making too much of the situation. The draft video is notable, though, especially when we remember how much consternation there has been about the WR2 spot. Osborn, for his part, has been consistent in his belief in his own abilities. Can he maintain the job?

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
