Vikings Set Official Training Camp Start Date

The Minnesota Vikings continued to unpack training camp details this week after announcing general times and dates, plus ticket information, last Thursday.
There’s now a formal start date to begin the festivities.
Vikings Set Official Training Camp Start Date
To kick off Minnesota’s 2023 preparatory event, rookies will arrive in Eagan, Minnesota, on Sunday, July 23rd. Everyone else is due by Tuesday, July 25th.

For daily practices, tickets cost $5 for adults, and children 17 and under are free. Night practices on August 3rd and August 8th are $10 for adults, $5 for children, and children 36 inches and under are free.
You can purchase tickets here.

Training camp takes place at TCO Performance Center in Eagan. For 52 years, the team operated summer activities at Minnesota State University in Mankato, but TCO Performance Center opened for camp in 2018, and the Vikings have held the summer event there ever since.
The 2023 edition will be the second for head coach Kevin O’Connell and general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah after taking over for Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman about 18 months ago. The new leadership regime delivered a 13-4 record in 2022, a division title for the first time since 2017, and only the third 13-win season in team history.

Fourteen training camp events will be open to the public beginning on July 29th:

Mon, 7/31 (Noon-5 pm) — Daily Practice
Tue, 8/1 (Noon-5 pm) — Daily Practice

Among the Vikings keynote summer battles include the WR2, RB2, NT, DT, CB2, CB3, FS, and perhaps kicker. Reigning Offensive Player of the Year Justin Jefferson stated at minicamp he would attend training camp in July with or without a contract extension. One of Jefferson’s teammates, Danielle Hunter, is a wait-and-see situation. Hunter is in the market for an extension, and it is unclear if the Vikings will grant his wish.

Again, training camp tickets can be purchased here.
