Minnesota won in Week 7 at home versus the San Francisco 49ers, a Monday Night Football masterclass. Quarterback Kirk Cousins fed pass-catchers Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson for three hours, and the purple defense took care of the rest.

The group overwhelmingly chose the Vikings, probably because of the unforeseen momentum gained by downing the 49ers. Too, the Vikings are due for a win at Lambeau Field.

Last week, Wes Johnson most accurately predicted the Vikings outcome. He picked the Vikings to win by three, and they won by five.

The point spread is currently even between the clubs, meaning there is no favorite or underdog. It’s an honest-to-goodness grudge match and pick ’em.

The Packers Apparently Tried to Trade for Everybody
Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports.

Sporting News picked the Vikings to defeat the Packers, and SN’s Bill Bender explained with a 23-20 prediction, “The Packers are favored, but that’s a suspicious line considering a three-game losing streak where they have averaged 16.7 points per game. Green Bay has scored just six points in the first half of their last four games. Minnesota is coming off a short week, but they have won their last two road games.”

The Vikings are 8-7-1 (.531) against the Packers since the start of 2015. Minnesota, though, has lost two consecutive games in embarrassing fashion at Lambeau Field.
