The VikingsTerritory collective staff prediction for Vikings at Bears is ready.

Minnesota lost in Week 5 at home versus the Kansas City Chiefs, 27-20, thanks to an early-game turnover, critical mistakes, and some bizarre officiating.

Our Official Staff Prediction for Vikings at Bears

The Bears suddenly became hot one week ago, thrashing the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football at FedEx Field. The Bears won 40-20 and looked quite efficient.

The writers at VikingsTerritory predict the Vikings will win their second game of the season — by a whisker.

Last week, Adam New and Ted Schwerzler most accurately predicted the Vikings outcome. They picked the Chiefs to win by seven, and that happened.

The point spread currently favors the Vikings at Chicago by 2.5 points. Minnesota will be without Justin Jefferson in a game for the first time since the 2019 playoffs, so the offense will feel like a brave new world.

Sporting News picked the Bears to defeat the Vikings, and SN’s Bill Bender explained with a 30-25 prediction, “Justin Jefferson went down with a non-contact injury, and the Vikings’ one-score luck has reversed this season. Kirk Cousins had led Minnesota to victories in his last three starts at Soldier Field, but Justin Fields is a hot quarterback all of a sudden – and has done a good job stopping the run in its last two games. Fields picks up his first career victory against Minnesota. It’s another step in the right direction.”

The Vikings have won three consecutive games at Soldier Field. Since 2000, however, Minnesota is 7-15 (.320) at the Bears house.
