The Minnesota Vikings regular season kicks off in 43 days at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But before that, you’ll have a unique opportunity — a few of them — to meet Vikings great and four-time Pro Bowler Ed White.
White played for the Vikings from 1969 to 1977, tallying his first three Pro Bowls with the club and partaking in all four of the franchise’s Super Bowl appearances during the Purple People Eater era.
The first event is free — on Friday, August 11th, 2023, at Walmart in Forest Lake. The address is 200 12th St SW, Forest Lake, MN, 55025. White will be accompanied by another Vikings legend, Chuck Foreman. Vikings fans are encouraged to simply show up; no tickets are required. White and Foreman will be at the location from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm CST.
Foreman ranks fourth on the Vikings all-time leading rushers list and tabulated five Pro Bowls, four All-Pro nods, and Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1973.
The next day, White will be joined by Vikings legend and Hall of Famer Paul Krause, who holds the NFL’s record for most interceptions. The meet-and-greet is on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 4455 40th St W, Webster, MN 55088, USA. Ticket prices start at $50 and can be purchased here. The ticket includes the following:
