Free agency week two is anything but free for teams signing players. After dropping some big coin for Kirk Cousins, the Vikings’ new regime spent some time (and money) trying to cobble the rest of the roster together. That included restructuring the contracts of fan-fave veterans Harrison Smith and Adam Thielen and signing a few other new faces. The click ran out on doing anything with DE Danielle Hunter, so Kwesi Adolpho-Menah and Kevin O’Connell bit hard and swallowed the $18 million roster bonus due Hunter this past Sunday.
