Vikings Podcast: Beauty in Buffalo

The Minnesota Vikings Are Super Bowl Contenders
Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports.

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I’m left with a sense of stunned bewilderment from the Buffalo game. The podcast episode thus considers the Vikings’ most recent win. Notes from the North – hosted by yours truly and Sam – seeks to offer some insight about the game.

Take a peak at what Sam has to say: “Kyle and Sam breakdown what many are calling the game of the year in Buffalo. They discuss the wildness of how the Vikings came away with a win, where Jefferson’s catch ranks among the all time catches, Patrick Peterson’s big day and wrap up by highlighting the performance of Cousins.”

As the above description suggests, there are a lot of players who stepped up. In my opinion, Kirk Cousins has been doing very well. True, the stats aren’t fantastic, but he has been leading his teams to some great wins. Dalvin Cook had the massive run, Justin Jefferson was unstoppable, and Patrick Peterson made two sensational interceptions. There is much more that can be said about these players and several others.

Moving forward, the Vikings won’t need to face the same doubts, as we discuss in the podcast. Defeating the Bills – in Buffalo and after being down by three scores – ought to remove the majority of the doubts. Minnesota is a top team.

Toward the end, Sam even provides a Minnesota Wild update. Things aren’t perfect for the Wild, but hopefully they can reach their potential as the season unfolds.

Folks who are into Vikings podcasts or think they’d like to get into Vikings podcasts should feel free to give Notes from the North a shot. Hop over to iTunes, Spotify, or Podbean. My understanding is that you don’t need an account at these spots. Just press play and enjoy the pod.

Enjoy the listening, Vikings fan.
