Minnesota Vikings News, Analysis, Schedule: Week 14

A Look at the Lions in Week 14
David Reginek-USA TODAY Sports.

In yet another one possession game played by the Minnesota Vikings this year, the good guys once again came out on top against the New York Jets last weekend. Now, Minnesota heads on the road with a chance to clinch the NFC North with a victory over the Detroit Lions in the Vikings game this week.

Overall, the Lions have been one of the best teams in the NFL over recent weeks, winning four of their last five games. That being said, the Vikings have historically dominated this matchup. The two teams have met a total of 122 times, and the Vikings are 80-40-2 in those games. Most recently, Minnesota defeated Detroit in Week 3, 28-24.
