Vikings Podcast: Monday Night Meltdown

The Vikings-Eagles Pregame Show
Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports.

Well, that didn’t go well. The Vikings dropped their Week 2 game against the Eagles. As a result, the purple team finds itself at 1-1. Sam and I spend some time discussing things on the latest episode of Notes from the North, our Minnesota Vikings podcast.

Some of the main points of discussion are the lack of balance on offense and then the defense’s adjustments. Both sides of the ball need to be far better if this team is going to make the postseason (which is to say nothing of competing once there).

Next week’s game will take place in Minnesota as the Vikings welcome the Lions to U.S. Bank Stadium. Starting 2-0 against the division would really improve Minnesota’s playoff chances.

Folks who are into Vikings podcasts or think they’d like to get into Vikings podcasts should feel free to give Notes from the North a shot. Hop over to iTunes, Spotify, or Podbean. My understanding is that you don’t need an account at these spots. Just press play and enjoy the pod.

Enjoy the listening, Vikings fan.
