Sansevere: Post-Draft optimism from Vikings fans have created a Super Bowl or Bust 2021 Expectation

The Nano-Column: Following fan logic to its logical conclusion since 2020

No excuses. Absolutely no excuses.
The VIkings better win, and win big this season.
They have convinced their fan base they got their starting left tackle and starting left guard in the draft, and the defense will be better and, well, there are no excuses for failure.
With these XL expectations, Mike Zimmer needs to win, needs to make a serious Super Bowl run, or he should be out. Same goes for Rick Spielman.
That’s the topic du jour in this excerpted segment of The BS Show with Vikings Territory owner.editor Joe Johnson and BS Show host Bob Sansevere, a long-time sports columnist for the Pioneer Press who spent more than 30 years on the KQ Morning Show.

It’s Super Bowl or bust for every team every year,
man, you know this. You just setting it up so if they don’t win the Super Bowl, then let’s get rid of the couch and GM. Every year if a team doesn’t get to the Super Bowl and win, it’s a busted year, everyone knows that. Quit it already with the Vikings got everything now, if they don’t win crap already, lmao!! You sports writer’s act like you all know something we don’t and that what YOU say is what we all should be thinking too. Nope, the Viking will be better, and I want the Vikings to win the Super Bowl, but there is more to it than just fire the GM and coach. Sure glad you don’t own the Vikings…
