Our Staff Prediction for Cowboys at Vikings

The VikingsTerritory collective staff prediction for the Minnesota Vikings date with the Dallas Cowboys is ready.

Minnesota can improve to 4-3 after Week 8 if they knock off the 5-1 Cowboys, who may or may not have quarterback Dak Prescott available.

The writers at VikingsTerritory predict the Vikings will notch their fourth win of the season. Two weeks ago, we picked the Vikings to win by five points over the Carolina Panthers. Minnesota won by six.

All but three of our contributors picked Minnesota to win over Dallas with Bob Sansevere, Kirby O’Connor, and Kyle Joudry not sold on the Vikings this week.

Here’s how the panel sees the score for Week 8:

Mathematically en masse, we predict the Vikings top the Cowboys by a score of 30-27.

Here are the season standings for our writers’ predictions:

Josh Frey, Wes Johnson, and Andrew Waters most accurately predicted the outcome during the last Vikings game. Minnesota won 34-28.

The Vikings are currently 2.5-point favorites to defeat the Cowboys at U.S. Bank Stadium this Sunday night.
