The numbers are 2020-esque.
Through three games and entering Monday game, the #Vikings are fourth in the NFL in total offense. They were fourth in 2020, which was their highest ranking in 16 years. As for the defense, the Vikings are 27th in total defense, which was also the same ranking they had in 2020.

Dantzler will have a chat with coach about his social media activity.
#Vikings coach Mike Zimmer on Cameron Dantzler's tweet after the game: "He will be talked to, yes.''
— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) September 27, 2021
And fans cannot understand it.
What could Dantzler possibly have done that was so bad that Zimmer is still playing Breeland over him?

Throwing the ball beyond the sticks is working for No. 8.

A very rough start for the free-agent signee from the summer.
#Vikings Bashaud Breeland has become the Dru Samia of cornerbacks. He remains the lowest-ranked cornerback in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. Last week, he was 99th out of 99. Now, he's No. 103 out of 103.

Details on Everson Griffen’s wreck last week.
#Vikings DE Everson Griffen said his car accident was "scary" and his car ended up "two feet" from the lake. He said he was coming to work early going about 45 mph and a deer came out in front of him and he swerved and then his car glanced off a tree.

When they let fans in, the bird teams don’t win, plain and simple.
The "bird streak" continues.
With fans in attendance, no bird-themed team has ever defeated the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Eagles, Falcons, Ravens, Cardinals (twice), and now Seahawks have all lost at U.S. Bank Stadium to the Vikings.

QBR is always Cousins’ lowest metric. But not yet this year.
A notoriously tricky stat for him, Kirk Cousins ranks 2nd in the NFL for ESPN's QBR (78.2).
Only Matthew Stafford (82.8) ranks higher.

The pass-blocking grade is 16th in the NFL. The efficiency is there, though.
The Minnesota #Vikings currently rank 4th in the NFL in OL pass-blocking efficiency per @PFF

Teacher v. Student in Minneapolis.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski today on facing ex-#Vikings Sunday: "Obviously, I spent a long time there and have great friends there, but it is really going to be a great challenge for our team. … I understand what is at stake. It is a really big game versus a really good team."

High praise for through-and-through Minnesotan.
Adam Thielen is the perfect WR1. He is a leader and reliable in every which way.
Through the rise of Stefon Diggs and Justin Jefferson, he remained focus and unbothered regardless of his targets.
