Nick OIson’s musings on the same topic.
Great insight on Hunter's new deal. #Vikings really protected themselves:
• Added 2 void years + ability to convert $18M roster bonus to signing bonus—no threat of a huge 2022 cap hit if they can't get a deal done
• Roster bonus is forfeited if Hunter holds out at any point https://t.co/lQ790Khlm2— Nick Olson (@NickOlsonNFL) June 21, 2021
The Vikings made headlines with some players mum about getting the vaccine. Now, the man that “started it all” is getting national coverage on the suject.

Richardson wanted to be in purple.
Sheldon Richardson:
1) Turned down more money from the Browns
2) Signed up to be a rotational player with the Vikings, even though he probably would have started in Cleveland

Tragedy strikes.
Vikings’ rookie DT Jaylen Twyman was shot four times while visiting an aunt in Washington DC. “Wrong place, wrong time,” said his agent Drew Rosenhaus. “In talking to him today, he’s going to be OK – that’s all that matters. We’re thankful he’s OK. He will make a full recovery.”

He’s isn’t a Vikings, but this is incredibly newsworthy for the sport.
Raiders DL Carl Nassib became the first active NFL player to announce he is gay. “What’s up people,” Nassib posted on IG. “I just wanted to take a quick moment to say that I’m gay. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now but finally feel comfortable getting it off my chest.”
