Daniel House details his offensive line wishlist.
Moving forward: draft an OL and sign Austin Blythe or Forrest Lamp.
Rashawn Slater (probably won’t slide), Alijah Vera-Tucker and Dillon Radunz are several of my favorite OL fits in the NFL Draft. #Vikings

Sobering perspective from Nick Olson.
Some of the #Vikings current projected starters:
• Dru Samia
• Rashod Hill
• Stephen Weatherly
• Josh MetellusStill a ways to go before the season starts, but with limited cap & just one pick in the first 75 picks of the draft, not a lot of ammo left to patch things…

KFAN‘s Paull Allen states that the Danielle Hunter fuss is fake.
Paul Allen on @KFAN1003 just said that a very reliable source told him last night that there is no truth to the rumors that Danielle Hunter is unhappy with the Vikings and is not looking to move to another team #skol

More financial details on Kyle Rudolph’s exodus.
The Vikings opted to use a post-June 1 designation on Kyle Rudolph's release, spreading the dead money over 2021-2022.
Minnesota will now pick up $7.9M in cap space on June 2 (useful for draft pick signing/in-season roster movement).

New Viking, Patrick Peterson, is evidently a Cousins believer.
Apparently Peterson wanted Cousins to join the Cardinals in free agency that year too https://t.co/YyX5pNKuy9

Thielen restructure stuff gets real.
The Adam Thielen restructure (very simple move – base salary was converted to a signing bonus) is done and has hit the books, per league sources. The move saves the Vikings over $8 million and drops the wide receiver's cap hit from $13.468 to $5.698 for 2021.

A 3-technique forecast, indeed.
Rick Spielman speaking to reporters about Dalvin Tomlinson, says he scouted Tomlinson in his Alabama days. "I think the thing that he doesn't get enough credit for… is how he still affects the quarterback. How he collapses centers, how he collapses guards."

@ClappedDan with the common-sense stuff.

Spielman seeks wrestlers.
Vikings have prioritized to grab players along either side of the line who have had successful wrestling careers. Tomlinson, a state champion, adds to that. "The leverage you learn, and also learning how to use somebody's body against their will, is a big part of wrestling."

Rick Sosa thinks a Smith extension is in the air.
Vikings with about $4M of cap space as of right now.. enough for a decent guard but have to pay for the draft class still.. more signing bonuses and extensions coming.. it has to be Harrison Smith #Vikings

Borman doubles-down on more Vikings free-agent moves.
OL and safety are biggest holes to fill imo. WR perhaps
— Sean Borman (@SeanBormanNFL) March 18, 2021
Minnesota still guard-hunting and safety-hunting.
They’re definitely talking with safeties, and there’ll likely be an OL move at some point.
