2021 Heisman Trophy Odds: A look ahead with MyBookie Head Oddsmaker, David Strauss.

We haven’t crowned a Heisman winner for 2020 yet – but oddsmakers are already looking ahead to the 2021 Heisman hopefuls. Here’s the players with the best odds, according to Head Oddsmaker David Strauss of MyBookie.ag.

Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler – who will be a Sophomore –  is given the best odds to win the award. Rattler will attempt to follow in the footsteps of Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray who both won Heisman Trophies for the Sooners under prolific play caller Head Coach Lincoln Riley.

Rattler is followed by North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell (+550). Howell is coming off an impressive season, throwing for 3,586 passing yards and 30 scores. North Carolina football has never had a Heisman Trophy winner in the award’s 85-year history.

Clemson Quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei (+600) and USC’s QB Kedon Slovis (+700) round out the top 4.

Uiagalelei started two games for Clemson in 2020 in place of top NFL prospect Trevor Lawrence (out due to a positive Covid test). The young freshman known as Big Cinco did not disappoint. Uiagalelei threw for nearly 800 yards in his two relief appearances.

Slovis hopes to capture the spotlight in LA. He’s proven to be at his best in crunch time, and SC fans hope that leads to a signature Heisman moment in 2021. He had a pair of five-touchdown games this season and will likely need at least that many next season to be a finalist.

Don’t sleep on former USC Trojan signal caller JT Daniels (+800) who transferred to Georgia in 2020. The highly touted HS prospect will try to build a Heisman resume coming off of his 392-yard performance in a Peach Bowl victory over Cincinnati.

Full 2021 Heisman Trophy Odds at MyBookie.ag.

Spencer Rattler- Oklahoma

+450

Sam Howell- UNC

+550

D.J. Uiagalelei– Clemson

+600

Kedon Slovis– USC

+700

JT Daniels, Georgia

+800

D’Eriq King- Miami

+1000

King tore his ACL in a Cheez-It Bowl loss, but is expected to be ready for the upcoming season. He threw for 2,686 yards and 23 touchdowns while rushing for 538 yards and four scores this season.

Jayden Daniels, Arizona St

+1100

Bryce Young- Alabama

+1200

Young is Alabama’s heralded five-star freshman who will attempt to pick up where Mac Jones left off.

Emory Jones, Florida

+1200

Tyler Shough– Oregon

+1400

Kyren Williams- Notre Dame

+1400

Brian Robinson Jr- Alabama

+1500

Graham Mertz, Wisconsin

+1500

Michael Penix Jr.- Indiana

+1600

Penix and Mertz will be the best returning QB’s in the B1G with Fields presumably gone to the NFL. They’ll have the chance to put up huge numbers once again. The conference is eager for a QB to take home the award, the last to do so was Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith in 2006.

Brock Purdy- Iowa St.

+1700

Bijan Robinson- Texas

+1700

Deuce Vaughn- Kansas St.

+1800

Breece Hall- Iowa St.

+1850

If any running back wins the 2021 Heisman Trophy, the smart money is on Hall. He’s coming off an electric Fiesta Bowl performance. The only drawback may be if teammate Brock Purdy, QB (+170) steals some votes by sticking around another season – the talented signal caller has Heisman aspirations of his own.

Isaiah Spiller- Texas A&M

+1900

Matt Corral- Ole Miss

+1900

Kevin Harris- South Carolina

+2000

Dillon Gabriel- UCF

+2100

Carson Strong- Nevada

+2200

Jordan Addison- Pitt

+2300

John Metchie III- Alabama

+2400

Zay Flowers- Boston College

+2500

Grayson McCall- Coastal Carolina

+2500

Will John Metchie III replace 2020 Heisman finalist DaVonte Smith as Bama’s big play wideout? At this point, we don’t recommend betting against the Tide.
