Vikings sign 9 players to futures contracts
The Vikings on Sunday signed seven players to Reserve/Futures contracts. On Monday, one more player was added and another will reportedly be signed soon as the team begins to construct its 90-man offseason roster.
Here’s a look at the players who were added:
- QB Jake Browning (6-2, 210; 23)
- RB Tony Brooks-James (5-9, 190; 25)
- WR Davion Davis (5-11, 195; 23)
- WR Dillon Mitchell (6-1, 202; 22)
- TE Brandon Dillon (6-5, 250; 22)
- DE Stacy Keely (6-6, 220; 24)
- CB Mark Fields (5-10, 180; 23)
- CB Kemon Hall (5-11, 190; 22)
- CB Marcus Sayles (5-10, 175; 25)
Mitchell was signed on Monday and Keely will reportedly be signed soon, per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. Browning, Brooks-James, Davis, Mitchell, Dillon, Keely, Fields and Hall finished the season on the Vikings’ practice squad. By signing Reserve/Futures contracts, these players will be eligible to participate in offseason workouts, minicamps, OTA’s and training camp to ultimately compete for a spot on next season’s 53-man roster or 10-man practice squad.
