Daily Fantasy is fun.
I got away from it a couple of years ago when I realized … I was bad at it. Then I realized that there was still $25 in my DraftKings account, and entered two teams in one of those million-dollar contest last weekend.
I was particularly proud of this roster.
If Kamara came through I could be writing this from my … dirigible? That’s what rich people buy, right?
Well, at least I won enough to enter more contests this weekend, and ended up grabbing Kyle Rudolph in more than one contest for reasons most Vikings fans understand.
Rudolph catches most balls thrown his way, Irv Smith Jr. is out yet again, and the Jags are bad. But, I didn’t realize how bad they were, particularly against tight ends.
I’ll let ESPN.com explain:
“Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph will have two touchdown catches. The Jaguars, Jets and Chargers have all given up a league-high nine TD catches to tight ends. Rudolph has just one this season and is coming off season highs in catches (seven) and yards (68) against Carolina.”
So, you might want to nab Rudolph (who @ $3,400 is a good deal considering). You can thank/pay us later when you’re staring at a million dollar balance.
