The Great Vikings 1998 rewatch Series: Weeks 1 through 9

Over on our sister-site, purplePTSD.com, we’ve been revisiting one of the most impactful (and infamous) seasons in the nearly six decades of the Vikings’ existence… The 1998 Minnesota Vikings season.
There may have been more impactful seasons for those born before the 1980s, but for Millennials and whatever they decide to call the newest generation (lazily dubbed generation Z, just as Millennials were dubbed generation Y (after generation X), my vote goes for generation dub, or generation Minecraft, or generation Fortnite, or generation COVID-19), ’98 was the September 11th of football seasons for those old enough to form memories in 1998.
I don’t mean that as a bad joke, but rather because every Vikings fan has a story about where they were during the NFC Championship game in early 1999.
Because of that, and the fact that we can only really talk post so many mock draft articles, we’ve been rewatching as many games from the ’98 season as YouTube allows.
Yesterday we posted the week 9 game against the then NFC Central foe, Tampa Bay. The Vikings opened the season by easily dispatching the Bucs 31-7 (you can click HERE to watch that game and chat about it). But first, let’s get you caught up on the other games we’ve covered!
