I just found the best Vikings, nay, song in general EVER
There are moments that all Vikings fans of a similar age remember. For my generation it’s 1998, Randy Moss putting that W’ on Lambeau Field in 2004, 2009, 2017 and now 2020.
But it’s the off-season, Joe, you moron! You say? Also, ouch.
Some things transcend space and time. Some things change how we look at the world. Some things make Mambo Number 5 look like Mozart.
That thing is the song “Minnesota Vikings” by random internet “musician” ‘Golden Boy (fopassin).
Confused? You won’t be in a second (and I mean not just about what I’m talking about but just any questions you may have about life, the cosmos, what Christian Ponder is up to, etc).
I humbly present the last song you’ll ever need to hear.
What is this? Where did it come from?
I tried to Google the artist and the third link was for a restaurant called Golden Boy Pizza in San Francisco.
The song, in case you haven’t listened to it on repeat like I did, is essentially Golden Boy reading excerpts from the Vikings Wikipedia page over a beat that can best be described as what you’d find on YouTube if you searched “Cat being murdered by Piano Key Guitar/Keytar”
He also apparently has a follow up club banger called the ‘Kansas City Chiefs’. Which, I mean, how do you top ‘Minnesota Vikings’? Only Golden Boy could be that bold! Did he read their 1988 schedule over the sound of an elephant giving birth?
Either way, I figured this deserved more than 140 clicks and that you all might enjoy this as we all sit around growing neckbeards and fusing to our couches!
After all, as our new savior/teacher Golden Boy says: #WELOVEYOUVIKINGS! Which, is a hashtag that I think we should all use on Twitter to show him some love back!
Who’s with me? No one? People didn’t appreciate Van Gogh in his time, either.
