Aviante Collins Carted Off Practice Field
Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Aviante Collins was carted off of the practice field during training camp Thursday. The injury occurred during a goal line drill, and did not appear to be a non-contact injury. Trainers were apparently testing Collins’ left knee before placing him on the cart.

Collins is looking to make a return to the 53 man roster after an elbow injury last season. The goal line session did appear to have more emotion after Mike Zimmer said, “We gotta play better on defense. The offense has a lot of grit and fight. Were not showing that on defense,” earlier in the day. Zimmer will probably be asked about this incident soon.
