Minnesota Vikings 2019 Schedule Announced

With the bulk of free agency in the rearview mirror and only eight days left until the NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings now know who they’ll play this upcoming season. The 2019 schedule was released on Wednesday. After sorting through all the “leaks” and troll jobs by folks that must really love football, we have our first look at the REAL dates and times of this season’s calendar. In honor of our midwestern readers, all times listed are central.

The schedule includes five prime-time games: a Thursday night game Week 8 against Washington; two Sunday night games – Week 10 at Dallas and Week 15 at Los Angeles; and two Monday night games – Week 13 at Seattle and Week 16 against Green Bay.

Here are the dates and times for the 2019 slate of games:

Regular season

Week 1 – vs. Atlanta, Sunday, Sept. 8, noon (FOX)
Week 2 – at Green Bay, Sunday, Sept. 15, noon (FOX)
Week 3 – vs. Oakland, Sunday, Sept. 22, noon (FOX)
Week 4 – at Chicago, Sunday, Sept. 29, 3:25pm (CBS)
Week 5 – at New York Giants, Sunday, Oct. 6, noon (FOX)
Week 6 – vs. Philadelphia, Sunday, Oct. 13, noon (FOX)

Preseason

The dates and times for the preseason games were also released. The Vikings open at New Orleans at 7 p.m. on Aug. 9, then have home games against Seattle at 7pm on Aug. 18 and against Arizona at noon on Aug. 29, then close the preseason on the road at Buffalo at 6:30p.m. on Aug. 29.
