The Vikings released the schedule for the inaugural training camp at their new facility, the aptly named Twin Cities Orthopedic Performance Center. As the new Vikings HQ is in Eagan and not Mankato, and because the Vikings made some moves this off-season (that you may have heard of), this promises to be one of the biggest and most special training camps in the storied history of the Vikings organization!

The following is the press release that was just… Released, along with the schedule for camp! Quick side note, we here at purplePTSD.com and VikingsTerritory.com will be covering camp from a lot of different angles to bring you the content, information and access that you want! So make sure to stay tuned to both our sites and especially our YouTube Channel as we’ll be live-streaming a lot of the access that we do get at camp during the times that it’s permitted by the Vikings, of course.
Eagan, Minn. (June 19, 2018) – The 2018 Verizon Vikings Training Camp will be held in Eagan, Minnesota, at the team’s new headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, for the first time. Rookies and select players who have yet to accrue a season or have been injured this offseason will report to camp on Tuesday, July 24, while the remaining players will report on Friday, July 27.
The Vikings will hold practices on Wednesday, July 25, through Friday, July 27, and will have their first full-team practice on Saturday, July 28. All training camp practices will be open to the public but will now require fans to reserve tickets in advance on Vikings.com.
On Saturday, August 4, the team will hold an evening practice in TCO Stadium, the first Vikings practice ever to be conducted within the newly constructed stadium.
On Wednesday, August 15, and Thursday, August 16, the Vikings play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars for joint practices held at TCO Performance Center. The final day of practice open to the public will be Thursday, August 16, prior to the matchup with the Jaguars on Saturday, August 18, at noon CT at U.S. Bank Stadium.
