I wonder if Diggs or Barr get resigned before mid-season for a number of reasons ~ But if I had to pick one to get signed before the season it’s Barr ~ But what do I know ~ LOL ~ Injuries for Diggs and same say up and downs for Barr ~ However Mike Zimmer and his son Adam seem to be very happy with his play ~ Here is the link to Adam’s interview on ~ State of the Vikings: Linebackers
Eric Smith

The loss of Tony Sparano will hurt and effect the team to some degree ~ However they will play with him in mind this season ~ And I believe that will be a good thing ~

Sparano and Zimmer hold a higher thought on the OL talent than some of us fans do ~ I had the Vikings going OC in the first also because i feared they would draft for need ~ I also thought they would draft McKinnon’s replacement in the first 3 or 4 rounds ~ Goes to show just how much I know ~ LOL

Maybe I’m a homer here and I am ~ I do believe Kirk is a upgrade over Case ~ While Case was good at buying time with his feet he also had a habit of holding the ball too often and had to buy time because of it ~ Not a knock on Case ~ 2017 was his first year with a really good offensive coaching staff and talent ~ The guy was\is a late bloomer because of it IMHO ~ Kirk has had one season where he had good WR~TE~RB healthy for a full season and he had a outstanding year ~ The fact he passed for over 4000+ yards in every season as a starter is outstanding to me ~ He will not be ask to do as much with the Vikings as Zimmer believes in stopping the run and being able to run the ball above all things ~ Kirk has never played for such a HC ~
