Five Vikings to Play in Pro Bowl

  1. WR Adam Thielen
    • Thielen’s first career Pro Bowl selection
    • Had 91 catches for 1,276 receiving yards in 2017
  2. TE Kyle Rudolph
    • This is Rudolph’s first time playing in the Pro Bowl since 2012 when he was named the Pro Bowl MVP
    • Replaces Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham
  3. S Harrison Smith
    • Smith’s third appearance in the Pro Bowl
    • Replaces New York Giants safety Landon Collins
  4. CB Xavier Rhodes
    • Rhodes will be playing in his second straight Pro Bowl
  5. DT Linval Joseph
    • Replaces Philadelphia Eagles tackle Fletcher Cox
    • Joseph’s second Pro Bowl appearance

Vikings LB Anthony Barr (hamstring) and DE Everson Griffen (foot) received Pro Bowl invites but will not participate due to injuries. Barr will be replaced by Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis and Griffen will be replaced by Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett.

The 2018 Pro Bowl kicks off at 2pm (CST) today and will be shown on ABC/ESPN.
