Don From Ohio [VT Roundtable – Episode 2]

In its second week, we welcomed a special guest to the Vikings Territory roundtable. If you’re on Twitter and follow any Vikings accounts, you’ve undoubtedly seen his name—or his apparel—mixed into the conversation. Yes, that’s right, Don from Ohio, or @JZHoodie, joined the fun for the second edition of the VT Roundtable.

To keep things fresh, we’ve changed the format of the roundtable; special guests will join the show each week and serve as honorary “judges.” Brett Anderson continues his role as do-it-all host, while the rest of the gang answers questions, argues, and discusses all things Vikings on camera.

Each episode will last approximately 30 minutes, with Brett splitting the time into five question-based segments. After each question and answer, he’ll ask the guest to eliminate either Adam, Drew, BJ, Sam, or myself, repeating the process until one lucky participant remains. The final question is a back-and-forth debate with the ultimate “winner” of that week’s episode.

We had some fun with the new format this week and hope you enjoy our talks. Follow the jump to watch Episode 2!

Episode 002

Although free agency is coming to a close, we had plenty to discuss with “Hoodie.” From Laquon Treadwell to Adrian Peterson, there’s lots to digest in every round of Episode 2:

  • Which free agent signing will have the biggest impact for the Vikings in 2017?
  • Are you concerned with Laquon Treadwell considering the fact Rick Spielman tried to sign Alshon Jeffery?
  • Did the Vikings do enough in free agency to shore up the cornerback position?
  • Is Mike Zimmer on the hot seat this year if the team does not make the playoffs?
  • Final Question: What will Adrian Peterson’s legacy be with the Vikings?

Don’s round-by-round eliminations surprised us all. Be sure to watch until the end and follow him on Twitter at @JZHoodie. Thanks again to “Hoodie” for serving as our inaugural guest; we’d love to have him on again! Feel free to share your thoughts, comments, and suggestions below!
