Vikings Lock Up Two Offensive Linemen
Vikings Offensive Linemen Update
With the two day negotiating period underway in NFL Land, much effort has been poured into trying to predict which (if any) big name offensive linemen will be joining the Vikings to fill what is unanimously considered the roster’s biggest need.
Before any beans are spilled on that front, however, it is important to note that the Vikings have retained, as expected, two blockers of their own. Both were Exclusive Rights Free Agents heading into this week.
Zac Kerin’s one year deal is worth $615,000 while Jeremiah Sirles’ is reported to be $695,000, according to the Pioneer Press.
Sirles made his signing known on Twitter late into Tuesday evening.
Pen to paper! Signed for one more year! Thank you @Vikings for allowing me to continue living my dream. #SKOL pic.twitter.com/dJY8ZaXHQc

Both stand to be competing for roster spots when training camp rolls around, assuming the Vikings are successful in bringing in more proven linemen this offseason, but their value as promising developmental options shouldn’t be dismissed. Each has played well and shown promise at times so far in their career.
