BJ Reidell (@RobertReidell), Brett Anderson (@brettAnderson87), Drew Mahowald (@DrewMahowald), Sam Neumann (@NeumSamN) and Sean Borman (@SeanBoarMan) pause at the halfway point to discuss and praise the 6-2 Minnesota Vikings. They give out midseason awards, update their preseason predictions, and predictably venture into long discussions about Teddy Bridgewater.

Woo hoo! I got a shout-out from Sean. It was after the shout-out to Mkie Kano, but I can live with that, especially given Sam's different reactions to me and Mike (Love you too, Sam).
My two-loss window for Keenum that Sean mentioned has shrunk given what I've been reading from Zimmer and the team. I think Keenum will probably get a half, but if he can't get the train back on track during the first drive of the second half after a bad first half, then I think Zimmer will pull the plug. But I think it will take bad play on his part to get him pulled within a game. I also wouldn't be shocked, outside a Tampa Bay-like performance against Washington, if Bridgewater gets the call against the Rams.
We are a better team than the Lions, even if they own us at the moment.
I can SEE our way to 14-2, but 12-4 is more realistic. I'd forgotten Zimmer's record against Newton and the Panthers, so I'm feeling better about that game. Atlanta could be a game we sort of are down for and then get beaten, but Detroit and maybe the Rams worry me the most.
Reiff may be the best player on the offense, but I do think that Keenum is the offensive MVP because he's played well at the most mos important position.
BJ's argument for Smith as defensive MVP makes a lot of sense, but the fact that Rhodes negates the opposing team's best receiver every week gives him the nod to me. Smith is the best player on the defense, but Rhodes is the defensive MVP.
Yup, Elflein for Rookie of the Year.
Remmers or Rudolph (a third down monster this year) as Unsung Hero, but Waynes is a nice choice, too (I remember when Arif Hasan had to school folks stuck in the past about Jamarca Sanford having turned into a good safety). Kendricks' pass defense has been excellent, but what's his PFF run defense grade? Shurmur, Thielen and McKinnon are not all that unsung, I think.
Barr is less unsung than the Comeback Player of he Year.
Waynes as Most Improved Player, but I'm not sure he'll ever be a star. I do agree that the Rhodes-Waynes duo will be seen as one of the top corner pairs in the league, though, kind of like Ahmad Rashad and Sammy White and Matt Blair and Fred McNeill were top WR and OLB pairs, respectively, back in my youth.
One might argue that Thielen has already arrived, so Danielle Hunter would probably be my choice for Rising Star. I'd love it if Nick Easton became a superstar, if only to rub in in BJ's face, but even I can't predict that.
Damn, Sam. Not cool prediction about Stafford. I hope Sean and Brett's Bold Predictions for Treadwell and Hunter come true, but I actually think Treadwell for 600 yards but only four TD's might be closer to the mark.
Oooh! My bold prediction is that the Vikings will post two shutouts in the next eight games, and perhaps sooner than later.
