Vikings announced three practice squad moves Wednesday.
The Minnesota Vikings stayed quiet through Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline. On Wednesday, they made some moves. The team signed two players to the practice squad. Both players that signed cleared waivers and are now back with the team. Due to the transactions the Vikings had to part ways with another 2017 draft pick.
The Vikings signed wide receiver Rodney Adams and center Cornelius Edison to the practice squad Wednesday. The Vikings waived both players on Monday. The players were waived as the team signed running back Mack Brown off waivers from the Washington Redskins, and safety Andrew Sendejo returned from a one-game suspension.
Adams, a Vikings fifth-round pick in the 2017 draft, has been active for one game this season (Baltimore Ravens game).
Edison was promoted to the 53-man roster Saturday was but was inactive for the game against the Browns.
The Vikings released Safety Jack Tocho, a seventh-round pick in the 2017 draft.
Currently, the Vikings 53-man roster and practice squad are full.

What was the draft pick that they had to give up?
He was referring to cutting Adams, a 2017 draft pick, not a future, 2018 or 2019 draft pick.
