Celebrating Victories – Adam Patrick
Here at Vikings Territory, we love to celebrate the victories experienced by our fine collection of contributors, even when it brings a certain amount of sadness due to their departure. In the case of Adam Patrick, however, we are lucky enough to be touting his success story without that bittersweet goodbye having to take place (yet).
Adam Patrick, and his lovely wife of “Danielle’s Dish” fame, recently embarked on the journey of a lifetime when they packed everything up and jaunted across the country from New York State to San Diego to begin a new adventure together in a new city.
Since landing in San Diego, Adam has been able to leverage the football prowess he puts on display here at VT every day, and land two new gigs with big outlets you are sure to recognize.
The first new job Patrick has taken on is similar to his work here at Vikings Territory. Adam is now a contributor for USA Today‘s “Vikings Wire” website where his primary role is to accumulate everything and anything Vikings related.
“After previously contributing for the Steelers Wire,” Adam recently told me, “[Vikings Wire Editor] Kyle Ratke was kind enough to bring me aboard a few weeks ago to start writing about the Vikings.”
You can follow along with all of Adam’s USA Today work by bookmarking his author page.
“Covering the Vikings is a passion of mine, so none of what I do for the Vikings Wire or for Vikings Territory ever really seems like work to me,” said Adam. “I enjoy the fact that I am able to provide fans of the team with the best content possible from two really great sites!”
Adam’s other new job is working the SB Nation Fantasy Football Newsdesk.
“Each week, I will be covering the latest player news and injuries that will have an impact on fantasy football teams everywhere,” Adam explains. “Part of the reason I enjoy playing and covering fantasy football is that it helps inform me with what else is happening around the NFL outside of Minnesota.”
Like each of our contributors here at VT, I am certain Adam is just beginning his climb up the media ranks, and we are thrilled for his recent and much-deserved success.

As long as I get to provide football fans with an opportunity to read about one of their favorite sports and do something that I love at the same time, I do not see myself slowing down anytime soon.
