Weight – 222 lbs.
Age – Unknown
First Team All-Big Sky
2nd – 3rd round
Great size. Is a tall defender with lanky arms, great for extending and catching or swatting balls thrown his way.
Smart player who can quickly diagnose plays.
Flies to the football and can lay a big hit.
Good at getting off blocks. Uses his hands well to shed blockers and get to the ball carrier.
Playmaker. Has great instincts with the ball in his hands, had multiple return touchdowns in college.
Solid tackler. Killebrew hits hard then wraps up the ball carrier.
Good overall speed. He’s fast enough to cover receivers, and can close on a ball carrier in a hurry.
Turned a lot of heads at the Senior Bowl with a solid showing.
Level of competition is a concern. Played for Southern Utah in the Big Sky Conference.
Played mostly in the box in college. Teams will want to see how he holds up in coverage.
Teams may look at him as a linebacker if they feel his coverage skills are lacking.

Vikings fit? Absolutely.
Killebrew is very exciting to watch on tape. He flies to the football and then absolutely destroys the ball carrier. He also shows a knack for making big time plays, and is skilled with the football in his hands. Killebrew also is great at reading plays, showing patience, and then reacting once he knows where the ball is heading.
The major concerns will be whether he can hold up in coverage, and the level of competition he faced in school. That isn’t a major worry for me, and I think he’d be a great addition in the Vikings secondary next to Harrison Smith. Killebrew did make a name for himself down in Mobile at the Senior Bowl, so if the Vikings want to bring another Killebrew back to Minnesota, they may have to pull the trigger as early as the second round.

He blows guys up like a stick of dynamite (a wee bit late on a few of those highlights), sheds blocks, looks fast for his size, finds his way through traffic to get to ball carrier, and just flows to the play to bring a big hit. Granted, these are highlights so an in depth tape review is in order, but I hope Zimmer has someone looking at his tape. Maybe Harrison Smith could chime in with his opinion? He looks like a good get (kind of a reach in RD2, OK in RD3, hell of a deal after that). Skol Vikings!
they may have to pull the trigger as early as the second round. For Miles Killebrew..are you serious..!! Not a 2nd round for this guy!! You must be crazy!!! Maybe a 3rd if no other BPA SS! But for a 4th round fits him the most... don't get me wrong.. I do like him too.. just be real with yourself is he a value at 2nd & 3rd round when someone like Su'a Cravens, Darian Thompson, Jeremy Cash, Vonn Bell, Jayron Kearse, Karl Joseph, Keanu Neal, James Bradberry, Tyvis Powell & I would say..Jalen Mills & Miles Killebrew are about the same cause due to Jalen Mills fractured his leg in August and had surgery. And cause of that, he did not perform well at Senior Bowl & Mills only play seven games last year due to his injury. Still a lot of ? for Miles Killebrew and his coverage is almost as bad as Sendejo. The only thing is his instincts & how he wraps up is better than Sendejo. So..NO! not a 2nd round pick! Maybe..& maybe if most of the good SS are off the board in the 3rd rd. but 4th is a steal..for Miles Killebrew ..And Most draft sites has Miles Killebrew going in the 3rd to 4th round. And that seems right and VALUE!! NOT 2ND FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRAZY TO DRAFT Miles Killebrew FOR A 2ND ROUND. 4TH ROUND would be nice!! Miles Killebrew is worth an early 4th round pick!!
