Danielle’s Game Day Dish: Week 5

The Vikings have done it again! Another win in the bag and plenty more to go.

Not only was this the first time the Vikings have won a Monday night football game since 2009, it is also the first time we have been 4-0 since that incredible season.

The Vikings made it 6-0 in 2009 and I know if we keep playing the way we have been, we will surpass that. In case you need proof, the Vikings are one of three teams that remain undefeated at this point in the season.

The Vikings are turning into a bit of heroes but you know what? They shouldn’t be the only heroes here. Who else should be a hero you ask? Why, you of course! Bring this funfetti cake dip to a party and you will easily become everyone’s hero.

Conjure this up… you walk into the tailgating party with a bowl of unassuming dip and a couple of packages of Oreos. Right away people are going to think “oh great, another dip” or that you took the easy route with your contribution. You lay your goods out and people start to come over with questions.

You may hear: “Wait, this dip has team colors?” or of course “What exactly is this?” and that is when it is your time to shine. Tell everyone you brought funfetti cake dip and enjoy the glory that comes with that announcement. Seriously every time I make this I feel like I was just crowned the prom queen. Everyone comes up to talk to me, people may even fight for my attention… or that could be my ego making me think that but if you serve this you will understand where my inflated head is coming from.

This recipe will make about 3 cups of dip. It seems like it may not be a lot of dip but this is a thick dip and a little goes a long way. Since it is so thick, you don’t need a lot to serve a large amount of people meaning your treats can reach more people causing you to be even more popular.

Seriously though, do yourself a favor and make this dip. It is so incredibly easy to make, taking literally under 10 minutes to whip up and is a true party favorite. As always, don’t forget to let me know what you think in the comments below and maybe share some of your favorite party dips. You never know what you may see pop up in the future!
