Vikings Airing Documentary Mini-Series on US Bank Stadium

On August 15, Part I of a documentary mini-series about the new Vikings stadium debuted. The documentary is titled “Building a Legacy: U.S. Bank Stadium” and aired on KMSP FOX-9.

According to Scout.com, the first episode will run in addition to upcoming episodes on Fox Sports North “at varying times.”

The series will include interviews with front office personnel as well as players and coaches.

The documentary will consist of eight parts and will walk viewers through the process of building the new stadium and the intricacies of its construction. The first seven parts of the series will be 30-minute pieces that will air every other month. The finale, a 60-minute wrap-up special, will run after the Vikings play their first home game in the new stadium.

“We’re incredibly proud of U.S. Bank Stadium and the unprecedented experience it will provide for Vikings fans and all users,” said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf. “With less than a year remaining until its opening, we want Vikings fans and the public to have a look behind the scenes and meet some of the individuals working on the largest project in state history.”

For more information, Vikings.com features a “Building a Legacy” tab. The website will also run the individual parts at some point after their original airing.
