We Also Have Kluwe-Less Stuff!

By Adam Warwas

Alright, alright, alright… you came here to read about something other than Chris Kluwe and were majorly disappointed by what you found on our front page? I understand, I do.

Please let me redirect your attention to a number of our fine articles from all of our fine writers (and me) from the last week or so that don’t involve the end of humanity as we know it:

TRANSITION TO THE OUTDOORS – Brent

WOMEN IN SPORTS MEDIA – Lindsey

VIKINGS GOING FROM WORST TO FIRST – Carl

PROFILE OF ROOKIE ANTONE EXUM – Darren

RANKING MATT CASSEL AS A STARTER – Arif

EPISODE ONE OF “VT TALKERS” – Brett

Okay, I lied, I couldn’t find anything good at all written by me lately. I will say, though, that we are incredibly close to meeting our goal when it comes to our “Mission 2014” fundraiser hoping to come together as a community and make a difference where one is needed.  If you have no idea what I’m talking about then please CLICK HERE and give it a read.

Adam Warwas (Founder) has been writing about the Vikings for a total of eight years. Five of those years have been here at Vikings Territory where he continues to surround himself with enough talented individuals that people keep coming back. As proud as he is of what Vikings Territory has become, his real treasures are in his home... a beautiful wife and three amazing children (and a dog named Percy).

  • Wrong I came here to specifically enlighten you on subject of this whole debacle involving Chris Kluwe. I am a Vikings fan since 1968 when I saw Clint Jones return a kick off 90 some yards inside the Philly 5 yd line. Which very much sum's up the Vikings history of coming up short. The failures of past Viking regimes to recognize a players greatness and/or his major flaws. Not since Joe Kapp have the Vikings had a quarterback who puts the team first. Joe Kapp coined the phrase 40 men for 60 minutes and then he led the Vikings to the Superbowl. They may have beaten the Chiefs if Kapp had not suffered a separated shoulder. The Vikings did not recognize Kapp's greatness and would not give in to his contract demands. Instead they shipped him to Boston. They have not had a quarterback since then who not only could be great but also put the team first. Till now, the rhetoric coming from Teddy Bridgewater is music to the ear's of all Vikings fans. Teddy Bridgewater has the drive and mentality to be that guy.But does he have the physical gifts to be a great quarterback in the NFL .
If Kluwe had the same mindset from beginning of his career as Bridgewater does. People would be comparing him to Ray Guy and not arguing over weather or not his activism got him fired.I don't care if it did in any way. I believe they should have replaced him several years ago ago at least when he kicked to Hester instead of out of bounds.

  • Only one comment?
No worries Adam, I think most everyone else is still reading over at Afif's "Kluwe Report Update" he posted the other day. That's a BIG read there.
