Boston Marathon Explosions Create All-Too-Familiar Feeling

By Adam Warwas

Sports are supposed to be our pleasant distraction from real life woes and events, such as the Boston Marathon, are supposed to be a celebration of our ability to triumph as individuals, as communities, and as a world full of diverse people capable of coming together.

Today, some sort of evil decided to invade these great moments and attacked the great international event, and details are still being gathered about what happened and how we might be able to help.

In the meantime, we’re going to take a short break from our normal ongoings here at VT, and we encourage all of our readers to find a way to help those impacted by these events.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Boston, and the families around the world that are certainly worried about their loved ones in attendance today.

  • Senseless crap. Cowards...
I'm sorry, it really gets me mad thinking about it. I hope and pray the people injured will be okay.

  • A cowardly way to steal someones personal triumph. Although, these people went on after running a great distance, to help anywhere they could.

  • You can absolutely see your skills inside the work you're writing. The whole world hopes for a lot more excited copy writers such as you who are not afraid to cover the direction they believe that. Generally pursue your current center.
