Final Mock Draft

By Brett Anderson

Well, this is it, ladies and gentleman. We are less than 24 hours away from the start of the 2012 NFL Draft. As such, I thought it would be a good idea to get my final mock draft up before it all begins. I still have the Vikings taking Kalil tomorrow but after that, there are quite a few changes. Because of a lack of time and the work we’re doing to prepare for the live chat tomorrow, I wasn’t able to include any analysis this time around.

So, go check it out and leave your opinion/criticism in the comments there or the comments on this post.

Brett Anderson

Brett Anderson (Founder) is a passionate Viking fan hailing from Sin City, Las Vegas. He can remember, as a child, scraping his knee on the playground and his friends being completely shocked by the purple blood trickling from the wound. When Brett isn't scouring the Internet for some semblance of Vikings news, he enjoys blindly putting money on them to beat whoever their opponent may be, and daydreams about being their next Tight End. Brett graduated from UNLV with a degree in Architecture and specializes in web/graphic design; he hopes to provide this site’s visitors with the best Vikings experience on the net.

  • Nice mock, Brett. I think the top 10 is pretty spot on other than maybe Carolina taking DeCastro. After that's it always gets tricky, the only stand out was Mark Barron at 21, I've seen a lot of analysts saying there is absolutely no way he makes it past Dallas at 14 and they might even trade up to get him, but who knows!

  • Holy cow I just read that the Falcons only had to give a 7th rounder to get Asante Samuel. I know he's getting a little long in the tooth but that sounds pretty cheap but it didnt say what the contract would be? I know Vikes want to get younger and all but talk about filling a need.
