COMMUNITY MOCK: Day Two

By Adam Warwas

Day one of our “Community Mock” is in the books and the Indianapolis Colts predictably came away drafting Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.  Luck received over 89% of the votes.  Remember, the progress of our mock can be viewed by clicking here, which includes analysis from you, the readers.

Today, it is the Rams that are on the clock, which presents a number of options both in terms of players and trades.  Take a look at the options, make a pick or choose your own path by selecting “other” and specifying what you think in the comments.

Remember, if you leave a comment with your vote, you might just get picked to provide the “analysis” for the pick in our mock.

Here we go:

  • I think the Browns have a good shot moving up with 2 first round picks in 2012 but Washington might be willing to give up more picks overall. Maybe they screw it up and forget to turn in the card and the Vikes get a million picks instead? I can dream right?

  • I think Snyder is willing to pull the trigger to finally get a Franchise QB and I think the Rams would love 2 picks in round 2 and 3 + additional picks in the future. They need to rebuild and I think that a good option will fall to them at 6.

  • I wish, Blackmon could had have lit it up at the combine. It would have made things a little more interesting for the Rams picking 2. None the less, it's clear they intend to trade down, it's just a matter of who offers the most. If Miami and Washington pick up Manning and Flynn though, it will leave the Browns in an interesting position.

  • After seeing Shanahan in Denver for quite a few years, RGIII is the ideal QB for his system. And, with Al Davis passing this year, we need a new owner that's willing to treat draft picks like they're unlimited and Dan sure looks to fit the bill.
